Thursday

I don't know why but when I was just on the bus, the names Muhjeebar and Seerajul popped into my head. They were the guys who ran the gift shop next to the Ed Sullivan theatre that David Letterman does his show from. Does he still stop in there? Do M&S still work there?

It's funny that you mentioned them, because Letterman mentioned on his show

I think they were thrown into a cell at Guantanamo without due process or access thanks to our Culture of Fear propagated by an authoritarian ad fascist government and of course, falsely planted evidence by Jay Leno.

Sorry someone walked in when I was typing my last comment. Dave mentioned that Rupert Gee of the Hello Deli went out business. Not sure if it was due to the writers strike and Letterman being off for 8 weeks or not. Mujiber and Sirajul were on his Christmas show a while back. They usually provide Dave with some sort of ornament like a mini statue of liberty to place on top of the tree. But that was a few years back. So not sure if they are there or not. But I heard a rumor they appeared in the background of the latest OBL video ;-)
